A. Yes, naturopathy is 100% safe, as a degree-certified naturopath, Karlie uses herbs and supplements that have been classified as safe in pregnancy and the lactation period and only in safe doses.

Q. Do I have to take any herbal remedies or supplements?

A. No you don’t, if you are concerned about how the herbs and supplements will impact your baby we can tailor your treatment plan around this.

Q. What does reiki do to an unborn fetus?

A. Reiki is 100% safe for both the mother and unborn fetus. There have been no negative or adverse outcomes reported from pregnant women who have received reiki. It is believed that the positive changes experienced by mum, such as regulating the nervous system, reducing stress, anxiety etc have a positive impact on the fetus.

Q. Is reiki effective in helping to recover post-labour and delivery

A. Studies have shown reiki has a positive impact on blood pressure, heart rate and the level of pain experienced post-surgery and with chronic illness’. It has been shown to improve mood, depression, anxiety, and quality of life.

Q. Should I have reiki to assist with pregnancy and delivery?

A. During pregnancy, Reiki can help alleviate stress, reduce discomfort, and support your body’s natural healing processes. It has been shown to reduce pain which can be beneficial during labour and delivery.

Q. What can I experience after reiki?

A. Feelings of relaxation, feeling more comfortable in their body, or clear-minded and promote a sense of connection with your baby.

Q. Can i combine the therapies you offer with conventional medicine?

A. Yes, absolutely. I do not and will not recommend that you stop seeing any of your current multidisciplinary team.

Q. How can you support me with postpartum recovery?

A. I offer holistic support to help you recover physically and emotionally after birth. This includes nutritional guidance to replenish nutrients lost during pregnancy and childbirth, natural remedies for healing, and therapies like Reiki and hypnotherapy to support emotional balance, manage stress, and promote bonding with your baby.
