Why I Created Belly Bliss — The Story I Haven't Fully Told

After my first pregnancy, I swore I would never do it again.

I was on the bathroom floor more than I was upright. Sitting in a running shower at 2am just to get through the 5 minutes. I did everything you're supposed to do — dry crackers before I even sat up in bed, ginger tablets, ginger tea, ginger everything, no eating after 7pm, cutting out fatty foods even though all I wanted was pizza and something warm and comforting.

I couldn't even drink water. The only thing I could tolerate was a hydrolyte icy pole, occasionally. I remember trying on bigger clothes sizes in the change room with my mum and she said "I can't believe you're only three months" — I looked six months pregnant. I thought that was just pregnancy. It was actually bloating, and I had no idea.

Oh, and the insomnia. sitting at a 90-degree angle so I wouldn't trigger my reflux, wide awake in the dark, staring at my husband sleeping peacefully next to me, hating on him hard.

The second pregnancy — and the loss

Before trying again I spent six months on preconception prep. I even saw a fertility naturopath because I didn't want to be biased about my own situation — she was wonderful and I want to be clear, none of what happened was her fault.

I fell pregnant. The nausea came back. And then I had a miscarriage.

On top of the grief, the nausea just... kept going. My body hadn't caught up. I was already exhausted from months of taking what felt like a thousand different supplements, and the thought of swallowing another tablet genuinely made me want to cry. So many products. So much effort and I still felt like crap.

And somewhere in that process, I kept thinking — I don't want anyone else to go through this. There has to be a better way.

What changed everything

After the miscarriage I threw myself into further study — histamine intolerance and gut health specifically. And things started clicking into place. Not just for me, but for so many of the mums I was seeing in clinic. The same patterns, over and over.

Women coming to me postpartum, still struggling — sometimes worse than during pregnancy. And I kept working backwards. If I could support them better through pregnancy, their postpartum would be easier. And if I could support them before they even fell pregnant, their whole pregnancy would shift.

Preconception. Pregnancy. Postpartum. It's one continuous journey, not three separate problems.

So I built something for all of it.

A single daily formula with everything a pregnant or postpartum body actually needs — not four separate products that were never designed to work together, not symptom patches, not more ginger that does nothing. Something that worked at the root level.

The third pregnancy

By my third pregnancy, I had early samples of Belly Bliss. And honestly? Some days, the nausea lifted completely. My energy came back. I could exercise, keep up with my skincare routine, actually function like a human being.

If you've been pregnant and unwell, you know how much getting back to the ordinary stuff means. Especially with a toddler at home, energy is everything!

I made this because I didn't want another woman spending her pregnancy wishing it was over. You deserve to feel supported — by someone who's sat exactly where you are.
